When That Day Comes
When she left we felt sorrow,
We knew we would never see our baby girl tomorrow.
As we keep her memory alive,
All we can do is try to survive.
When will we see Melissa again?
Will this pain ever mend?
How can we go on?
Knowing that she is gone?
As my heart yearns for her
Everything else is just a blur.
How can I subsist?
Knowing that she doesn’t exist?
When my day comes, and I will see,
Her beautiful face smiling at me.
When that day comes I know I will be all right,
Knowing then that she is in my sight.
Until I can hold her again,
My pain will never mend.
Until then just know that I love you Melissa,
AND I ALWAYS WILL
Your little sister
